I added a link to more info on each dive site. Just follow it and you'll see info on each town.
Here is my personal photo gallery!. All photos were taken by me using an Ikelite Aquashot II camera. I am including some info on location name, approximate. depth, time and hope you'll enjoy them.

Angel Fish: Culebra Island Link
Culebra Island is located to the east of Puerto Rico. Part of the island used to be a firing range for the US Armed Force specifically the north side. Now Natural Resource Department is in charge of its conservation and some parts of the Island have been declared National Park. This is to conserve some dangered species as Carey (Turtles) and birds. The town of Dewey has a small port where the ferry comes everyday from Fajardo and Vieques. You can get there with $5.00 (Round trip from Fajardo). There is a small airport at Culebra, the flight from fajardo is about 10 minutes and will cost $15.00. If you stay at San Juan you can take an airplane from there and go to Culebra also, but will cost more. Some nice dive site are, "Los Corchos" to the south, "Cayo Tiburones" East, close to Culebrita island, "Pena caye" west and "Flamenco beach" north.

Butterfly Fish: La Parguera Link
La Parguera is a town located south of P.R. where diving with a 100+ visibility is the norm of the day. This is an advanced diving spot but with good weather conditions is a piece of cake for beginners. Some local Universities have special projects for students seeking a degree on Biology studies. You could find researcher from around the world here doing investigations of the environment. There is a Fousforecent bay in La Parguera which is unique and you can take a ride on a bottom glass boat to the bay at night and enjoy the beauty of the place. I took this picture while pursuing my Advanced certification (NAUI). There were high seas that day and we had some hard time getting back to the boat. There are at least two dive shop there that offer diving trips around. would like more info?, check the Rodale's Scuba Magazine Home Page and read about the place there under world destination Guide. In a hurry?, send me an e-mail and I will send you more info.
