Puerto Rico
is the smallest of the Big Antilles (Cuba, Haiti and Dominican Republic).
Its size is about 100 miles long by 33 miles wide. Tainos (Indians) used
to called it "Boriken"
which means "The land of the
Proud Lord". Now we call
it "The Enchanted Island"
and it has a lot to offer for the adventurous soul. To the north its the
Atlantic Ocean, South Caribbean Sea, east "El
Yunque" rain forest. It is surrounded by
Vieques, Culebra and Mona Islands which is known as the Caribbean
Galapagos.
Puerto Rico
landscape is divert, you can find dessert land to the south, tropical
forest on the north, and an extend mountain range in the center of the
island.
